Jai Krishna has extensive work experience as a journalist in India and abroad with media organizations including The Wall Street Journal, Dow Jones & Co., The Hindustan Times Mint business newspaper, The Financial Express, CyberMedia India Ltd., and Raj Television. As a public policy professional, a career he chose after spending two decades in Journalism, Jai, helped create significant regulatory and legislative changes in the Media and Entertainment Sector as Additional Director of Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry, and AGM-Public Policy TV18 Broadcast Ltd. Jai Krishna, 42-years, holds Master of Arts in Journalism and Mass Communication, and a Baccalaureate of Arts in Political Science – both from the University of Madras. He also holds a Program on 21st Century Challenges in Public Policy from the University of Virginia, US. Jai is a keen observer of the developments in the Media and Entertainment sector across the world, and especially in the Asian region. In his personal time, Jai mentors start-ups with a focus on social entrepreneurship and achieving the Sustainable Goals set by the UNDP. He is also a Mentor of Change for Atal Innovation Mission an initiative of NITI Aayog, Government of India, to spur scientific temper among high school students in the country.
